Salted caramel popcorn
250 grams of corn
Salt
2 cups of light brown sugar
1 cup of light corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
100g butter
Oil
Heat a little oil in a large saucepan, add the corn, sprinkle with salt to taste and cover the pot immediately.
Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until you no longer hear the sound of popcorn popping. Remove from the stovetop and place the popcorn in a separate bowl.
Preheat the oven to 140 degrees centigrade.
Heat in a large saucepan the butter and sugar on medium heat and gradually add the corn syrup. After 5 minutes, when everything melts into a thick liquid, remove from heat, add the baking soda and stir.
Pour the boiling caramel o the popcorn and stir well, so that the caramel coats all the popcorn.
Line a baking pan with baking paper and spread the caramel popcorn on it.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until the popcorn dries and turns golden brown.
