I’m back

The blog I built was abandoned for a very long time.
A lot of things have happened since my last post.
I decided I wanted to move & live in Budapest. Then covid19 came and disrupted all my plans!
So unfortunately we are still with the pandemic and still fighting it.
I have still been able to do a number of interesting things in recent years.
One of them (and I will detail the rest in the following posts) is that I wrote a number of recipes for the American magazine "THRIVE". Vegan food magazine.
here are the recipes and links.
I know some of you want the recipes of the previous posts, I admit my only problem is my English and translating all the recipes. So from the following posts, I will try to attach a recipe, and sorry in advance for my English :-)

HELLO OCTOBER :-) How long I waited for you.

Autumn is my favorite season, the falling leaves, the cold air, so pleasant that I feel like hanging out all day outside and sniffing the wet mud. I do not understand how they have not yet made perfume with the autumnal smell.I have prepared a lot of autumn recipes and I will prepare more for the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, especially for the cool weather, I wanted to make whole wheat pancakes and spelt flour with pieces of persimmon and caramel sauce and hazelnuts.

One of the signs that autumn has arrived is the Quince. I always said that Quince was a close cousin of the pear and the apple. It's only drawback is that it is hard and takes a long time to soften it, however, it is a great fruit for cooking and baking.
Yotam Ottolenghi has a lovely recipe with quince stuffed with meat and pomegranate seeds, which I made a year ago. In this post I will share a recipe of lovely quince cake.

Medjool Dates Bundt Cake

Medjool Dates Bundt Cake

Every time you enter my house and open the refrigerator, you will find dates of all kinds, but my favorite is Medjool with which you can prepare a variety of desserts.
I did not prepare the date cake or its second name, Sticky Toffee Pudding, until a few weeks ago. I wanted to try to understand why so many people love it. I gave up the rich syrup over and the cake came out amazing!

Roasted stonefruit with vanilla and cinnamon

I have over 50 recipes with stonefruit! I love plums, apricots, cherries, pears, apples! I can write a cookbook just about fruit! One of my favorite recipes is the oven roasted fruits with cinnamon and a vanilla stick. What's fun with this dish is that you can add all kinds of delicious things, ice cream, sponge cake, pie, simple mascarpone cream, creme fraiche and more!

Double Crumble Hazelnuts, Almonds and Oatmeal with Mulberries

Ever since I was little
I dreamed that we would have a tree of lemons, oranges or any other fruit tree, would be welcome.
The compensation for this was that my father was a neighborhood grocery store and every morning he went to the large wholesale market that brought fresh fruits and vegetables from the fields. I would first taste the fruit or vegetable that was picked up just a few hours ago. But it's still not the same thing, I wanted a fruit tree that would be able to pick a juicy apple directly from its branches and prepare it in an apple pie.
I still do not have a fruit tree. I got used to going to the market and buying fruit and making delicious pastries that day.

Welcome to my blog. You'll find recipes, stories and mainly, experiences here. As far back as I remember myself and my family, everything always revolved around food. I grew up in a home brimming with good food and with a mother who loves to cook. She inherited her recipes from her own mother.
